Transformation of the Day: Leatricia lost 28 pounds. As a wife and mother of four, she wanted to be healthy and not become “a victim of diabetes or high blood pressure.” She worked with a coach to change her eating habits and adopt an exercise routine.

What was your motivation? What inspired you to keep going, even when you wanted to give up? My motivation was my family. I have four children and a husband. Diabetes and high blood pressure are known issues of my related family members. I didn’t want to become a victim of diabetes or high blood pressure. 

How did you change your eating habits? My eating habits were horrible before I started working with Terry Starks. I love to cook soul food and bake desserts. Breads and desserts are my weakness. I basically had no self-control. I was fortunate to meet Terry Starks. His meal plans changed my life. I learned how and when to eat. I was amazed at my results in my first 35 days of the program. Terry Starks’ plan allowed me to eat protein, healthy carbs, fruits, and vegetables. I was never hungry on his plan. My meals were also very tasty on the plan. 

What is your workout routine? I mainly did cardio.

How often did you work out? Terry Starks created a plan that worked with my schedule. I would work out anywhere from 40-80 minutes per day. 

What was your starting weight? 245 pounds

What is your current weight? 217 pounds

What is your height? I’m 5’6″.

When did you start your journey? How long did your transformation take? I started my journey on the Terry Starks program on 7/15/24. I finished on 9/15/24. My transformation took eight weeks.

Is weight loss surgery part of your journey? No, I didn’t have surgery. 

What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned so far? I’ve learned to always make time for my health. It doesn’t take long to meal prep. A 30-40 minute workout doesn’t take long. 

What advice do you have for women who want to lose weight? Make time for you. You and your health matters! I know Terry Starks has a virtual program, and he’s on Facebook and Instagram (look him up). You’ll thank me later!!
